We think happy hour should be at breakfast. With some many varieties of healthy beverages and smoothies why not make a healthy, exotic smoothie to start you day on the right food and in the happy mood.
1 1/2 cut up chunks of ripe mango or use frozen chopped mango
1/2 inch of freshly grated ginger (or 2 teaspoons of ginger powder)
1 teaspoon of cardamom powder
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
2 teaspoons of happiGut prebiotic fibre (1 tablespoon for high fibre)
3/4 cup of milk of choice – we used unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Optional: few strands of saffron
Optional: to add a little more sweetness, add 1 to 2 teaspoons of honey or to taste
Add all ingredients with a little ice into blend. Blitz and enjoy happy hour!
